1000/2000 Service Training Course (2 Days)
Course content includes general description and operation, preventive maintenance, adaptation hardware checks, and in-chassis repairs. Other areas include gear pack and power flow operation, electronic control theory and vehicle interface, hydraulics operation, diagnostics and troubleshooting. Hands-on disassembly and reassembly of the transmission will also be performed.
Allison World Transmission Service (3 Days)
3000/4000 Product Service Training Course This course provides an understanding of the World Transmission operation, construction, service requirements, installation guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures. Classroom topics include torque converter operation, power flows, clutches, retarder operation, vehicle interface, electronic and hydraulic control systems, and preventive maintenance. Hands-on exercises cover disassembly and reassembly of a transmission to the modular level.
Allison DOCTM Diagnostic Tool Training (1 Day)
This course covers DOC™ 4.7 and introduces the new DOC™ 5.0 Computer based service tool.
Allison DOCTM for PC (Diagnostic Optimized Connection) is the essential tool for use with 1000/2000/2400 Product Families of automatic transmissions. This program (classroom only) provides a systematic approach to perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and selected parameters. Specifics of Allison DOCTM include navigating thru the tool's computer screens, using the demo mode/graphics monitor/strip chart options, and the accessing of specific troubleshooting manual pages within the tool.
